Dance is more than just fun!

Just a reminder that all dance and Acting exams have formal qualifications attached to them on the National Qualifications Framework (primary & above) and Grade 6 & above carry valuable UCAS points!

Following on from a conversation with my senior girls, I thought you might be interested to hear how dance has helped them over the years . . .  “Attending dance from a very early age has increased my ability to manage my time more effectively, improve my confidence, be able to confidently speak in public and above all else be very disciplined”.  How lovely to hear from such mature teenagers!

Ne2016 was such a brilliant year for our school and we can't wait to see what 2017 will bring!

Professional appearances

Marcia, Minnie and Clara performed in London Children's Ballet production of Little Lord Fauntleroy.

Isobel P performed in National Youth Ballet.

Luca being selected to dance alongside The Royal Ballet at The Royal Opera House in their production of Sleeping Beauty.

A troupe of 30 appeared in ‘Making Memories’ at Theatre Royal Windsor.

What a year we have had! None of this could be possible without all of our dancers hard work and dedication and of course all the Mummies and Daddies for bringing them to all of their classes and endless rehearsals! So thank you to you all!

 RAD Mentoring

I am currently mentoring for the RAD for teachers on the CBTS programme.  I want to welcome ‘Susy’ to our school who will be observing and assisting in my Monday, Tuesday & Thursday classes this term.

RAD South East Awards

A very successful day was had by our school at the RAD Awards on Sunday!  A total of 13 places were available for the final and our school gained 8 of those places!  Break a leg to Alexis, Lily, Tilly, Luca, Louis, Keira, Marcia and Andrea for the finals in May!!
